Helen Keller, who could neither see nor hear, says it best that all beautiful things must be felt with the heart.
As we focus inward, we begin to see with our heart. We begin to listen with our heart. Insight opens up. Emotions bubble freely. We feel more alive and more into our real self. Take some time today to feel beautiful things with your heart. ❤️

I am a yoga therapist! I love what I do! 💖
There is something so beautiful about watching a client explore and then discover ways to heal issues that are troubling them. I hold a space for that to happen using principles of yoga to help, such as meditation, breathing techniques and movement. Clients do not even need to know how to do yoga postures. 🧘🏼♀️ I am there to support them. When clients come to me in person or online, we assess their issue and its impact in their life. A way forward is decided and then implemented. Clients are encouraged to take a lead in that healing process. As a yoga therapist, I am a guide. Clients are empowered to take control of their lives in a sensitive way, that is unique to them and their circumstances. Insight is sought for and applied. Growth is felt and seen. The process can be compared to the bud of a flower whose petals are tightly woven, then gradually open up into to a beautiful, vibrant flower, loose and alive. 🌸 I love being a yoga therapist! 💖💖💖 Amidst the terrible tragedy on 9-11, the people of the world rallied together with kindness and goodness.
Ordinary firemen, policemen, ambulance crews, nurses and doctors, and people on the streets helped where they could to do extraordinary acts of courage and bravery. Some even lost their lives in trying to save others. Many prayers were uttered. Those acts of bravery and kindness will be remembered forever. They were ordinary people doing extraordinary things. ❤️ There are books called “Choose Your Own Adventures.” They have different scenarios that you choose at multiple places in the books.
The outcome or destination can have many endings depending on choices made. They are fun to read, noticing how the adventure changes with every reading. Our lives have more serious outcomes, where choices can make a real difference in our lives. We do walk our own path, understanding that no one else can walk it for us, however, support from others can be very important. Sometimes just knowing that someone cares, is listening, or just along for the journey can be validating and re-assuring. Yoga Therapy can empower you to make choices that are right for you. Each step we take in life’s journey, leads to somewhere, possibly a goal or an unknown place. Sometimes it doesn’t matter where we are going, only that we are. That all important first step makes the difference.
Perhaps you feel stuck in your life and not sure where to go. Take a step. 👣 It may be that that step is one leading into the dark, but take it anyway. Take that step. 👣 You will feel and know as you begin the journey, if it is right for you. Trust yourself. You can always turn back or go a different way. Take a step. 👣 Begin your journey. 🚶♀️ Yoga Therapy can help. To live life, we must find our own way. What is right for one may not be right for another. There is no single right way to live.
- Edie Littlefield Sundby We go through life thinking we know best. Our choices represent that. Could there be something better out there—perhaps?
I read a talk once about choices. It was suggested that there are good, better and best choices and while some we choose may be good, imagine if we took the best choices instead. What choices will you make today so that better things will fall together? Take the time to look inside yourself. You will see that you are brave. You are strong. You have wisdom to heal yourself. If you doubt, Yoga Therapy can help. ❤️
