Authenticity is the quality of being genuine or real. It is the state of being legitimate or true.
I have always thought of authenticity as truth, one’s own truth, focused in all that one does during a day. It is not just a moment-by-moment idea. Authenticity requires you to remove your mask and be present as you are, warts and all. It requires vulnerability and openness. It requires you to possess the knowledge that you are enough.
