“Travel opens your heart, broadens your mind and fills your life with stories to tell.” - Paula Bendfeldt
My trip to India was an adventure. It filled me with new sights, sounds, foods and cultural offerings. My heart was opened to new ways of thinking, of doing things. The more I learned, the more I began to understand. The kindness and humility of those I met, touched my heart. My travels led me through the north, then a yoga retreat, then through the south. My daughter came with me and we had such fun! Some of my highlights were: visiting the Taj Mahal, riding in a rikshaw, wading in the ocean-watching the sun rise and set, resting in a hammock-feeling the warm breeze on my face, eating a traditional Indian meal with fingers, riding up the mountainside on an elephant, visiting the spice market, eating biryani, practicing yoga, and making new friends. India has a special place in my heart now. The trip was arranged by yogaunited.com.
