“Travel helps you to appreciate the culture of others. You are able to see how much people love their traditions, their way of life. It is beauty of the heart, on a large scale.” -dw
My trip to Israel was like that. I opened myself to new foods, history, landscape, people, and culture. My heart swelled with love for this new place as I visited the Jordan river, listened to a shepherd tell of his duties in Nazareth, rode a camel in Bethany, practiced yoga at a kibbutz near the Sea of Galilee, and rode a chariot at Armageddon. There were other places too--Jerusalem, Temple Mount, Bethlehem, Masala, Garden of Gethsemane, and the Dead Sea to name a few. Each place held its own unique beauty and my life was enriched.
